Opportunity
As a PR Strategy Consultant, you will be responsible for shaping and managing MicroAgility’s public image, ensuring that our communication is cohesive, compelling, and consistent across all channels. You'll develop and implement PR campaigns that resonate with our target audience, and you'll work closely with internal teams, media outlets, and influencers to elevate the MicroAgility brand.
In this role, you will help position MicroAgility as a thought leader in the consulting and IT sectors, driving brand recognition and engaging key stakeholders. Your strategic insights and ability to create high-impact media relations will directly influence how our brand is perceived, leading to stronger client acquisition and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement a comprehensive PR strategy that aligns with MicroAgility’s business objectives and reinforces our position in the market.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, industry influencers, and key media outlets. Serve as the primary point of contact for all media inquiries.
- Develop press releases, thought leadership articles, and media kits that highlight MicroAgility’s expertise and contributions to the consulting and IT industries.
- Proactively identify potential public relations issues, create crisis communication strategies, and manage any brand-impacting events swiftly and effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to craft a cohesive brand narrative, ensuring all external communications reflect our mission, vision, and values.
- Plan and execute media events, press briefings, and interviews, positioning company executives as industry thought leaders.
- Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns using KPIs such as media coverage, brand mentions, and sentiment analysis. Continuously optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to ensure PR strategies are integrated with online channels, including social media platforms, blogs, and SEO efforts.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in PR strategy, preferably in consulting, IT staffing, or technology sectors.
- Proven track record in media relations, with an established network of industry contacts across North America.
- Expertise in writing press releases, articles, and other PR content. Strong editorial skills and ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated experience managing public relations crises and developing mitigation strategies.
- Proficiency in using PR analytics tools such as Cision, Meltwater, or Google Analytics to track performance and inform strategies.
- Understanding of how PR integrates with digital marketing efforts, including SEO, social media, and influencer marketing.
- Familiarity with trends and challenges within the consulting and technology spaces, allowing you to position MicroAgility as a forward-thinking leader.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present complex information in an accessible and engaging manner.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, leadership, and sales.
