Sajid Khan – President,
Head of Consulting Practice
Sajid Khan is the President,
Head of Consulting Practice, and the founder of MicroAgility, an award winning IT consultancy firm.
In his role, Sajid is responsible for MicroAgility’s strategy and vision, major client
relationships, and leading key engagements.
Sajid brings two decades of Management and IT
consulting experience and has been involved in
many of the significant projects. Prior to
MicroAgility, Sajid held senior consulting and
industry positions in leading companies such as
Merrill Lynch, J. P. Morgan, Deloitte & Touché
Consulting Group.
Sajid has addressed several forums on issues
such as “Outsourcing in the Financial Industry”,
in Chicago (2004); “How is Internet Changing the
Society”, at Brooklyn Library, Brooklyn, NY
(1999); “What is Y2K and its Impact on the
Financial Industry” on MTA in London, UK (1999).
He also has written articles, e.g. “Fortune
Cookie” in Washington D.C. (2000) for community
magazines.
In 2006, 2007, and 2008, Sajid was profiled in
“Who’sWho in America”. Sajid is also a recipient
of the “Business Man of the Year Award” and was
named for the “Congressional Medal of
Distinction” for the year 2008 by National
Republican Congressional Committee; recognition
for his outstanding leadership and contributions
to local economy.
Sajid is an active member of Project Management
Institute (PMI), and serves as a mentor to MBA
students at the Stern School of Business of New
York University. Sajid is also an executive
member of many other committees of non-profit
organizations.
Sajid received his MBA in Finance & Information
Systems from the Stern School of Business of New
York University and BS in Management of
Information Systems from the City University of
New York. He is also a Wharton Fellow at Wharton
School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
